Boycott Israeli Goods

Boycott Isralei Goods

The campaign to boycott Israeli goods until Israel obeys the 60 UN resolutions it is flouting. The most important are those ordering Israel to remove its troops from Palestinian lands.

You helped to defeat the evil apartheid regime by boycotting South African goods.

Israeli commits war crimes daily. Its troops kill unarmed civilians and children, terrorise whole populations, bulldoze Palestinian homes, blow up schools and clinics, cut water and electricity supplies and deny medical aid to the sick and dying.

You can help to get justice for the Palestinians by refusing to buy Israeli goods and complaining to supermarkets who don’t offer you an alternative for any particular commodity.

Stop the Wall

The campaign against the illegal ‘apartheid’ wall being built by Israel inside the Palestinian territories.

This project has confiscated further huge tracts of fertile Palestinian land and nearly all Palestinian water resources.

It is separating farmers from their land, villages from schools and medical care and neighbouring communities from one another.

100,000 olive trees have been uprooted and acres of greenhouses demolished.

Arms embargo

Israeli troops illegally occupy the West bank and Gaza. They brutally oppress the Palestinian people.

Yet the UK continues to trade arms with Israel. Our government has supplied components for Israeli fighter planes, tanks, helicopter gunships and armoured personnel carriers. All have been involved in Israeli war crimes against Palestinian civilians.

Our government says it does not supply arms to repressive regimes. If that is true, it must impose an immediate arms embargo on Israel until it ends its illegal occupation and respects all UN resolutions.

Free Marwan Barghouti

Free Marwan Barghouti
Marwan Barghouti is one of the most senior and respected members of the Palestinian Legislative Council.

In abducting detaining and torturing Marwan Barghouti and then detaining him without charge or trial since April 2002, Israel has violated numerous international laws and fundamental human rights. These include the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (Articles 5 and 10), the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (Article 7), the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment and the Geneva Convention (Article 49).

The Israeli Public Committee Against Torture has documented the facts about his torture. (http://www.stoptorture.org.il/)

Marwan Barghouti was taken out by Israel because he was a respected statesman, arguing a coherent case for peace with justice for the Palestinians. Israel saw him gaining credibility around the world and wanted to stop him becoming leader of the Palestinian Authority.

Britain and other countries must tell Israel that its treatment of Barghouti is unacceptable and that he must be freed immediately.

Support Israeli ‘refuseniks’

Over 1,200 Israeli pilots, army officers and soldiers are refusing to serve in the Palestinian Occupied Territories.

They say that the dreadful things they have been asked to do there violates Jewish values and corrupts the entire Israeli Society. Their declaration states : The missions of occupation and oppression do not serve Israel’s defense – and we shall not take part in them.
